Project Description:

We worked with the Planning and Zoning Commission for almost a year untangling and updating the table of uses to better reflect industry standards, development pressures facing the city, and the future vision of the city as explained in the 2015 City of Leadville Comprehensive Plan. Another special project completed was the creation of a new chapter within the Leadville Municipal Code establishing application review procedures for site plans. This was a missing gap in the city code and filling it was critical in light of the scale and amount of development the city anticipates in the coming months. Through multiple discussions and hearings, the new chapter was adopted by City Council in early 2019.
