  • Jennifer Q. Henninger has over 20 years of broad-based community planning and development experience in both the private and public sectors with her most recent experience being the Community Development Director for the City of Littleton. While at Littleton she helped lead the efforts to adopt and implement a new city Comprehensive Plan with a Master Transportation Plan followed by a brand-new character based zoning code.

Jennifer began her career in the City of Lakewood, followed by Army base planning in Germany, a 7- year hiatus to be a stay-at-home mom, and then 10 years on the private side serving as a consultant planner for several small communities providing expertise in the areas of grant writing and administration, economic development, community engagement, and development review. She also led efforts for writing and updating Comprehensive Plans for the towns of Kersey, Sheridan, Kremmling, and Rio Grande County.

  • Jennifer was born and raised primarily on the east coast, earning her Bachelor of Science in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University in upstate New York, but she got out to Colorado as soon as she could, first right after college to obtain her Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Colorado and then moving around the world with her Army husband for 10 years before getting back to Colorado in 2004. She volunteers for a number of different organizations including the Littleton Public Schools Foundation, Cornell University, Downtown Colorado Inc, and the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
