  • Having over twenty years of public sector planning experience in both long range and development review, Shelia brings a strong background in community and municipal planning. Her diverse career in both small towns, larger organizations and non-profits has provided exposure to the complexities of planning in difficult settings and challenging situations and emphasized her belief that diverse perspectives and life experiences make better communities.

Shelia is passionate about using her wide range of planning skills to benefit the communities she works within and believes in engaging all players to find solutions to each unique problem. But above all, she is passionate about people, and takes pride in helping communities envision and achieve their goals. Shelia’s collaborative approach makes her a reliable and productive member of the CPS family.

  • Growing up in a small West Texas town, Shelia made big plans to get to Colorado as soon as she could. After working for two Dallas suburbs (Plano and Frisco), she finally got her chance and headed west to Colorado Springs where she has lived ever since - raising three boys, numerous animals and killing several house plants. She never wants to leave Colorado and looks forward to adventures skiing, hiking, paddle boarding and traveling the world.
